Plan of Life

A "plan of life" can be a great help for anyone looking to grow in their spiritual life. Simply put, a plan of life is a regimen of spiritual practices that we commit ourselves to performing on a daily basis. When we stay faithful to a plan of life, we grow closer to God and we build up within ourselves the spiritual power we need in order to transform the world around us. A good plan of life may include several of the following practices:

  • Morning offering (in your own words or according to a traditional formula, such as the one found here).

  • Rosary

  • 10-20 minutes of personal conversation with God

  • Mass

  • Angelus at noon

  • Divine Mercy Chaplet

  • 15 minutes of spiritual reading

  • Meditation on Scripture

  • Visit to the Blessed Sacrament

  • Listening to Catholic homilies/talks/podcasts

  • Examination of conscience
